Did you go for your fashion walk last weekend?
Don’t tell me you have enough of fashion because the month isn’t over yet and there are still many things to discover! As part of a fashion month, just after Brussels Fashion Days, and before Ethno Tendance Fashion Weekend, it was time for Mode Parcours 15!
From the 22 till 25 October, Mad Brussels organized its famous free event, Mode Parcours 15! This year it was also a celebration of its 15th edition, and the organizers prepared something special for their participants. Mode Parcours promotes avant-garde fashion in Brussels and in Belgium. During 4 days, visitors were able to (re)discover designers and boutiques that create Brussels fashion. Passers by could enjoy a cat walk, installations, artistic collaborations, performances and so on.
This year, it was all about diversity! It was an expression of the cultural richness that could be found in our City and region.
A highlight of the 2015 edition was the installation presented by Jean-Francois d’Or, Belgian Designer of the year 2013, who presented Flower by KENZO at Place du Nouveau marche aux Grains 22-23.
That was not all! There was also an opportunity to participate in workshops and to work with leather. The audience had the chance to have a go at the art of making hats or shoes! How cool is that!
